To perform the roll the candidate must have a track record and an excellent understanding of project management on a high level within the discipline.

• A versatile, highly motivated person, able to apply a creative problem-solving approach learnt from extensive Process & Pipeline services field experience.

• Functioning within a sales / project management / Engineer role on site or office based engineering projects or supporting field supervisor operation conditions.

• Good knowledge and experience of the PD8010 Pipeline system code.
Part 1 Code of practice for pipelines. Steel pipelines on land
Part 2 Code of practice for pipelines. Subsea pipelines

• Understanding of Hydrotesting & pigging equipment and spreads using nitrogen or water as test or pigging mediums & familiarity with intelligent pigging.

• A committed team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills leading teams in the successful completion of technically demanding projects mainly in the UK however support for other global locations may also be required.

• Able to establish and maintain effective communications/relationships with clients.
Proactive in identifying and offering alternative and additional technical/commercial solutions to meet client-specific requirements.

• A Variety of experience gained in Project Management/Supervision of onshore and offshore pipeline projects involving Nitrogen and associated services within the Petrochemical Industry.

• Fully conversant with all aspects of pipeline commissioning, Nitrogen and Fluid Pumping work, having supervised project managed numerous projects including the Project Manager positions.
• Operating under an occupational health and safety management system which complies with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001. producing, updating and revising to current legislation, risk assessments and safe systems of work.

• Working alongside HSEQ Group Manager, taking a pragmatic approach to the study of cause and effect of accident investigations and implementing remedial actions, collaborating reports to assist in Form part of investigative teams dealing with safety incidents, accidents and non-conformity of HSE requirements.

• Compiling accident, incident and near miss statistics and frequency rates to analyse trends. Completing site safety audits for recognition of any short falls within the health and safety policy, company safety standards.
To effectively perform in this role – the following is desirable.

• Liaising with sales to interoperate accepted quotes to functioning engineered formulation and design of procedures, specifications, risk assessment & Job safety analysis. Quantifying resources and consumables for both ongoing and forthcoming projects, carrying out of some duties, as above, in a hands-on capacity at clients’ location when required.

• To provide a designed product of service to the client’s requirements. Set up and control of SITE operations, duties included- selection, sourcing, and mobilisation of field equipment to various for pre-commissioning services, pigging, pipeline commissioning, and hydrotest projects both offshore and onshore.

• Maintaining records of all operations with respect to cost control of all aspects of work carried out, (including control of 3rd. party / hired equipment) in order to optimise cost-effectiveness to the company

• Forward planning of personnel and equipment for ongoing and upcoming projects. Technical design, selection, test, and preparation of operational equipment prior to mobilisation. Responsible for development of project procedures and direct supervision of all site operations.

• Assist technical sales promoting excellent customer relations at office to site level, with ability to create communications within the client company structure at all levels of interaction.

• Support the operations manager in coordinating operational activities of service supervisors / operators during the site operational works and the preparation of equipment for performing an operation.

• Provides guidance to less experienced staff. Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue centre’s viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.

• Assures that all operations are performed in a consistent manner in compliance with all HSE policies and best practices.

• Attend site visits to discuss client project objectives and engineer solutions to meet client needs. Producing marked drawings, risk assessments & methods of works to assist operations carrying out work scopes on site.

• Be able to coordinate third party deliveries to client sites and WSG base, such as BOC liquid nitrogen uses, third party equipment.

• Identify materials lists required for projects and purchase material requirements which are not in stock in a timely manner to meet project objectives.

• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft operating system and its applications such as word, Excel and Bluebeam, having experience with the use of an automated cloud-based project system for flange management and test pack generation.
