WSG Emulsion Buster™ significantly reduces off site waste disposal volumes, costs and carbon impact treating hydrocarbon sludge / emulsions by turning it back into its component oil/condensate, water and solid phases.

The Emulsion Buster™ mechanically breaks emulsions and sludges by exerting an equivalent force of 6,000G without the requirement of heat or chemicals. The equipment package has a small onsite footprint, is modular, scalable and suitable for high flow rates up to 150m3/hour with a single unit.

The WSG Emulsion Buster™ offers our clients the following benefits: –

Effective phase separation of emulsified fluids into recovered oil, recovered water and solids at high flow rates.
Single pass processing rates of returned/reused oil and water (< 6% BS&W for recovered oil and < 1% oil in water – discharge limits can be improved where required)
Typical hazardous waste disposal reduction of 75% to over 95%
Solids will require an offsite disposal route but is typically less than 5% of the total waste.
Significant disposal cost and carbon footprint reduction compared to alternative disposal routes
