WSG Advanced Filtration Media (AFM) is a uniquely engineered solution providing unmatched filtration of ‘difficult to treat’ contaminants within wastewater steams.
WSG provides measurable results across many industries who generate hazardous wastewater with toxic or harmful contaminants that are difficult and costly to treat and dispose of. These include oil and gas production, industrial, pharmaceutical, energy, mining, steel production, marine and MOD.
WSG AFM can achieve very low discharge levels at high flow rates providing our clients the opportunity to reduce its waste volumes, costs and carbon impact. The WSG AFM system is tailored to the waste contaminants being treated but is typically a combination of ‘selective’ filtration media and activation catalyst. It significantly outperforms other common filtration by a 20: 1 ratio in terms of contact times to achieve the contaminant removal allowing significantly faster processing times than other technologies.
AFM achieves unmatched wastewater contaminant removal levels by eliminating highly toxic and poisonous chemicals such as heavy metals, hydrocarbons, BTEX. PFAS, glycols and other hazardous compounds that others cannot effectively treat on-site.
The AFM wastewater treatment package has a small onsite footprint, is modular, scalable and suitable for high flow rates up to 100m3/hour with a single package.
The WSG Advanced Filtration Media offers our clients the following benefits: –
