Quality Contractor Award

WSG Energy Services (WSGES) is delighted to have been awarded Quality Contractor of the Month by EPCM JGC Fluor JV (JFJV) at LNG Canada's new facility in Kitimat, northern BC, Canada's first LNG export facility, owned by five partners led by Shell.

“The preparation for safe and successful project execution, adherence to quality, and other project goals occurred well before mobilization to site,” said John Gordon, WSGES President – Canada.

The WSGES site-based team continues to successfully execute multiple scopes, which include tensioning, torquing, flange management, stud extraction, pipe cutting, machining, pipe-bore inspections and pipe cleaning in a challenging construction environment to an extremely high standard. Ruthlessly committed to safety and first-in-class customer satisfaction, the attention to detail of the entire WSGES team in Kitimat was paramount to achieving this recognized success.

“We are grateful that the client we engage with on an hourly basis recognizes the quality and value we bring to the project; it is a great testament to the team effort,” said Stevie Sanderson, WSGES – Project Lead, who accepted the award. Quick to applaud the success was the PM Cameron McIntyre, who was ‘delighted but not surprised that JFJV Quality singled us out, as we (WSGES) continue to be a key stakeholder in the success of the LNG Canada project.”

Regarding expansion plans, John Gordon stated that the future looks bright for WSGES in North America, “we have met a high degree of customer satisfaction on this critical project, and our team will continue to grow and seize opportunities.”
