Technical Support Engineers

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will ensure that effective engineering support is available to customers, as well as to our sales and operations department. With assistance from operations staff, you will ensure that customers make optimum use of currently available information and techniques. You work closely with the sales and operations manager and consult on long-term technical decisions and ongoing operations. In addition, you make daily decisions on the efficient support of ongoing projects to meet customer requirements.

We are looking for 2 x Technical Support Engineers. All applicants must be either located in the Emmen area or willing to re-locate and must be eligible for working in the EU . Ability to speak both Dutch and German would be an advantage.

The position is for a period of 7 months initially with a view to becoming permanent staff.

 

Responsibilities

  • Promoting the company’s technical image by preparing and giving presentations both internally and externally
  • Working out customer requirements and designing, managing and improving business processes
  • Keeping abreast of new developments and technologies within the industry and the company and disseminating this information within the team
  • Direct communication with customer, colleagues and managers to ensure high performance standards
  • Supervise all work designs for assigned projects
